The overall objective is to: The CFW Supervisor will manage all Cash For Work activities specific to the Camp Management in Refugee Camp (ie. drainage, infrastructure repairs, and maintenance). The CFW Supervisor will also be responsible for the daily management of the CFW laborers. S/he will also provide assistance to the logistics component of the camp.
Who are we?
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has been present in Iraq since April 2003 with operations in Diyalla Governorate north-east of Baghdad and has since opened offices in Basra governorate (April 2004), and in the governorates of Erbil, Missan, Kerbala and Wassit (September 2007). Regionally, DRC is also present in Syria, Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon.
The overall objective for DRC in Iraq is the protection and promotion of durable solutions to displacement affected populations on the basis of humanitarian principles and human rights with more immediate objectives focusing both on the immediate subsistence needs, livelihood and self-reliance support as well as a more long term focus on capacity building and environment building. DRC's intervention in Iraq is increasingly focused on the Syrian refugee populations in Erbil and Dohuk governorates of the Kurdish Region of Iraq (KRI). DRC adopts a community-based approach, where beneficiaries and local authorities are included in the prioritizing, planning and implementation of activities as an important measure of rehabilitation and capacity building.

You must be available to start to work from by 22nd February 2015 and be willing and able to work in Erbil.
